SALARY: Grade 5 Scale, € *,**Apply on the
website** per annum pro rata plus on-Call allowance applies

breaks (flexibility required). Typical hours per day will be 7hrs

including evenings and occasional weekends. On call rota applies.

ABOUT THE SERVICE
The Bail Supervision Scheme (BSS) is an alternative to the detention
of young people available to the children's court. The BSS provides
intensive supports for family members, and the young person with the
focus on improving education/training opportunities and pro-social
outcomes, whilst decreasing re-offending behaviours.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Extern's Family Workers support the families of these young people at
risk of entering the Youth Justice Detention System.
The Service uses Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), as an evidence based
model of practice, as the intervention of families and seeks to
support the young person's lasting behavioural changes, promoting
positive social behaviours Formal MST Training , support and
supervision will be provided to successful candidates on the
commencement of this role
